| About Me |
| First, I’d like to thank some people for helping me with this website: My wonderful boyfriend Chris convinced me to start it. If he wasn’t so proud of me, I don’t think I’d be where I am right now. Never would I have had the confidence to even consider starting a website if it weren’t for his constant praise and bragging. His support means the world to me. Also, my sister Stef (who has her own website: stefanieellis.net) for helping me with everything technical and organizational. She’s been supportive since the day I was born, even when I was just “okay.” As far as art goes, I've been drawing since I was old enough to hold a pencil. My artistic flare started in grade school when art teachers would compliment me on my drawings of various dog breeds (all of which looked like choppy German Shepherds.) I never stopped drawing, but that doesn't mean I did well. My “good’ works seemed to come overnight! Suddenly people were asking if they could buy my drawings and teachers were entering my photos in art shows. Photography is a more current adoration, starting when I was 15 years old. I fell in love with the works of Linda McCartney. Her photos were so nostalgic and passionate. I was amazed simply looking at the album insert for “McCartney.” Before that moment, I had never even cared about holding a camera, much less using one. I come from Littleton, Colorado, so, anyone in the Denver-metro area can feel free to contact me for services such as family portraits, graduation photos, senior portraits, weddings, et cetera. My e-mail is jess@jessellis.com. Other than the artistic aspects of my life, I’m currently training to be a Medical Transcriptionist, though my dream job is to be a photographer for a travel magazine. Let’s hope this exposure here gets me closer to that goal! |
